Manage user access

Main users and sub-users with administrator rights can add and remove KONE Elevator Call sub-users in their facilities. This functionality is not available to users without administrator rights.

Add users

  1. Open KONE Flow.
  2. Tap Users.
    Note: If your account is connected to multiple KONE Elevator Call locations, first use the location selector on the top bar to choose the location you want to add a new user to.
  3. Tap Add a User….
  4. Fill in the name of the user.
  5. Tap KONE Flow on.
  6. Fill in the email address of the user.
  7. If you want to give the user rights to add more users and administer the facility, tick the checkbox Give administrator rights.
  8. Tap Add.
  9. KONE Flow sends an invitation email to the user’s email address.
    Note: An invitation email is valid for 14 days, if the email has expired, Invitation Expired is displayed with that user in Users. Open the user and click tap Send to send a new invitation email to replace the expired one.

Edit Users

  1. Open KONE Flow.
  2. Tap Users.
    Note: If your account is connected to multiple KONE Elevator Call locations, first use the location selector on the top bar to choose the location of the user you want to edit.
  3. Tap the user you want to edit.
  4. You can edit the following settings:
    • Name of the user
    • Give or remove administrator rights

Remove Users

  1. Open KONE Flow.
  2. Tap Users.
    Note: If your account is connected to multiple KONE Elevator Call locations, first use the location selector on the top bar to choose the location of the user you want to remove.
  3. Tap the user you want to remove.
  4. Tap Remove User.
  5. Confirm removal of the user.
